Viewmont Internal Medicine is a local, privately-owned medical practice that has been serving the needs of patients in Hickory, North Carolina since 1999. Our board-certified physicians specialize in primary care for adults.

Viewmont Internal Medicine welcomes patients age 16 and up to their Medical Home.  The Medical Home is a model of care that uses a team approach to providing patient-centered care.  In the Medical Home you choose a personal physician who is committed to partnering with you to make the health decisions that are best for you.  Your personal physician and their team provides comprehensive patient-centered care and coordinates your care across all healthcare settings including the medical office, hospitals, specialist offices, testing facilities, and other places where you receive healthcare.  

The goal of the NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home model is to improve the quality of your care and your experience in our office while at the same time reducing the overall cost of care.  Medical Homes are able to provide this valuable care through teamwork, the use of advanced information technologies and through enhancing the relationship you have with your physician and healthcare team.
